How many Photographers / Videographers are at Andywayne?

We are a team of three passionate artists who specialise in event and wedding videography and photography.

Where are you based and do you travel?

Yes.  Our studio is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, but we travel throughout out South Africa.

How long has Andywayne been working in the photography and videography industry?

We have been capturing events and weddings since 2007.

What is your photography / videography style?

Our wedding photography and videography style is natural.  We combine a portrait and photo-journalistic approach and prefer to capture the moment as it happens.  This does not mean we don’t take any posed pictures…we defiantly do!

What are Hi-Res pictures?

Hi-Resolution pictures are high quality images ideal for printing and / or modifying.

What is a pre-wedding / engagement shoot?

A pre-wedding or engagement shoot is a photography session with your wedding photographer – usually a month prior to your wedding. It’s a great idea so you become more familiar with us and to see just how relaxed we will make you feel while your pictures are being taken. Plus it’s an excuse to kiss and hold one another for an hour, not like you need an excuse now… Some examples below, fun and relaxed.

Why do we need a pre wedding / engagement shoot?

The pre-wedding or engagement shoot is a celebration of your engagement.  It is also the ideal opportunity to get to know your photographer.  Remember that your photographer will be with you for your entire wedding day – it is important to make sure you feel comfortable with each other and get along.  Many couples also find that a pre-wedding or engagement shoot helps them feel more relaxed about posing on their wedding day.  This allows them to forget about the camera – resulting in better, more natural photos.  Some couples even use the photos from their pre-wedding or engagement shoot for their invitation or wedding website.

When does the 8 hours coverage offered by Andywayne start?

Andywayne offers a standard of 8 hours photography and videography coverage for your wedding.  Coverage starts whenever you want it to.  In other words, if you need us from 14h00 we will end at 22h00.  Custom coverage can also be arranged.

Do you offer more or fewer hours of coverage if we require?

Yes, extra hours can be purchased on the day if the need arises and we can customize a package with fewer hours.

Do you do Photography full time?

Yes, Andywayne is a team of full time wedding photography and videography professionals.

Can we provisionally book you?

No, the only way to confirm a booking and secure our services for your wedding date is by making the necessary deposit.

How do I book Andywayne for my wedding?

Andywayne can provide you with a no-obligation wedding videography and photography quotation.  After meeting with us we require a 50% deposit to secure your booking.

What equipment do you use?

Two Professional quality Sony Video cameras and Three Professional quality Nikon cameras. Various lenses depending on the shot required, reflector boards, off camera flashes.. all the stuff you need to make a killer photo.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes, Yes and Yes! Any professional should have more than one camera and Andywayne always has two video cameras and three photography cameras for added peace of mind. Ask us we will gladly show you our equipment.

Over and above our back-up camera equipment, all our cameras are equipped with 2 Memory cards.  This means every photo we take is saved twice in case of equipment failure.

Do you offer videography services?

Yes, Andywayne provides professional wedding photography and videography services.  Our affordable all-in-one packages take care of both your wedding photo and video requirements – giving you one less thing to worry about!

Why should we hire 2 Videographers?

Using two videographers allows us to capture different aspects of a single event.  It will allow you, when watching your dvd, to be in two places at once.  For example, you’ll be able to watch the expressions of your partner and family members while you exchange your vows.  You’ll be able to relive your wedding day in all its beautiful detail.

How long in advance should we book you?

The sooner the better. Andywayne may at times be booked as far as a year in advance.  To avoid disappointment it is advisable to book your wedding photographer and videographer at least 6 – 12 months before your wedding.
